Every Application software has shortcut keys to perform task immediately .To find the Computer shortcut keys you need to go to top drop down menus .If you look at File menu  in Microsoft Word the are many shortcut keys such as Ctl+s which is written in front of every menu option ,you can watch shortcut keys there .You can find some shortcut keys such as Ctrl + X ,it used to cut the selected text and paste it.
